Summary

Consistent with Amy’s core value that we take care of each other, the People Administrator is responsible for supporting the implementation of Amy’s people strategies at the company’s manufacturing facility. The position is accountable on all aspects of our reception area, including warmly greeting visitors and directing them according to their needs while following our policies and practices. They are a key member of the People team, supporting candidate, new hire and employee touchpoints and administration. They handle general office duties including regular mail pickup and delivery, maintaining office supplies, processing packages for
delivery, liaison for office machines and performs various other projects as assigned

 

Must be fluent in Spanish and English with the ability to read and write in both languages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in a warm manner and help them as needed. Maintains a record-keepingsystem to meet food safety and food defense requirements by managing the Envoy system
    and training visitors on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and other key plant
    requirements.
  • Direct callers to destination, take messages as needed.
  • Support basic benefit inquiries, such as enrollment, and guides employees to the Amy’s Third-Party Administrator (TPA) or the Amy’s Benefits Helpdesk as appropriate.
  • Assemble benefits folders and other documents for New Hire and Benefit Orientations.
  • Upload employee documentation to Employee File Management (EFM) in the PeopleTechnology System (PTS).
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of employee records.
  • Process Leave Requests in the PTS.
  • Ceate employee badges and timecards. Monitor quantity of cards on hand and order inadvance of when needed.
  • Sort and distribute pay checks.
  • Manage Carpool Program and Clean Commute program.
  • Ensure the receptionist area is covered, train temporary receptionists in Food Safety and People Safety protocols as needed.

EDUCATION
 High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combinationof education and experience.


EXPERIENCE

One to two years of related administrative experience and/or training;
Must have a clean DMV record.


SKILLS
 LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be fluent in Spanish and English with the ability to read and write in both languages.
 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
 Ability to write simple correspondence.
 Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals toanswer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders, and address complaints.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including adding andsubtracting.
Must also be able to check numbers for accuracy.


REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or twostep instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.


TECHNOLOGY SKILLS
Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimilemachines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
Ability to use electronic email, office suite software, web browser software
