Bay area California compensation range: $18 - 23 

Project Details:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Finance team this summer. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in system implementation, financial reporting, and accounting processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are key for success in this position.

• Assist with data entry and reconciliations/validations to support our system implementation process.
• Help prepare reports and provide support to various team members with month-end close and forecasting duties.
• Project mentorship with the Director of Commercial Finance.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education

• Attending four-year college or university to attain a Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.

• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and project leadership skills.
• Team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.
• Self-starter with an analytical mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
