Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Details:

As part of this role, you will collaborate with the Engineering and Maintenance Teams to support control systems and audit PM (Preventive Maintenance) completion systems to help mitigate or eliminate downtime. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Updating and maintaining electrical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Utilizing AutoCAD for system updates and modifications. 
  • Updating asset maps to reflect current equipment and layouts. 
  • Leading a PM optimization project to improve efficiency and reliability. 
  • Identifying and sourcing spare parts, while verifying that corresponding PM processes are in place. 

This position requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to streamline maintenance processes for operational success.

Education 

  • Attending four-year college or university to attain a Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineering Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university. 

 

Required Skills 

 

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and updating electrical drawings. 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Experience with coding and troubleshooting control systems. 
  • PLC-based training and familiarity with automation systems. 
  • Ability to use Smartsheet for project tracking and workflow management. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintenance planning. 

 

Skills 

Language Skills 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. 
  • Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders. 

 

Reasoning Ability 

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret technical data, apply analytical thinking, and streamline maintenance processes for operational success.
