The warehouse worker is responsible for accurate receiving, storing, picking, staging and shipping/transfer of raw materials, finished goods, and work in progress products (WIP) in compliance with company standards and procedures. Job duties are to load, unload, stack, and stage finish goods, raw materials, and work in progress products (WIP) using a fork lift, clamp truck or other type of powered industrial truck (PIT); as well as, recording leftovers on the leftover log. Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away and load functions, as required. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect forklifts or other equipment. This position requires certification in the operation of Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), use and care of company issued radios and phones, basic mathematical skills and flexibility to work various shifts as required by company production needs.
The work days are Sunday through Thursday night, 10:40 PM - 7:15 AM. Based upon business needs, there are required over-time days/hours, including weekend work.
